Helping you to help your dog
In my approach as a dog educator and behaviorist, I consider each human-dog team as unique. Everything happens within a given context and for a specific reason, which is why there is not one single solution to a problem and definitely not a miracle solution overnight.
When working together, we will work on improving the relationship with your dog, which is the starting point of addressing their behavioral issues (if present, or prevent them altogether). We are going to achieve this through a number of different approaches. These include, but are not limited to:
- an assessment of your history
- an assessment of both, your human and your dogs’ needs
- an improvement of your communication
- the establishment of the necessary skills and coping strategies specific to your situation
By adopting a mutually respectful approach, based on empathy, science-based knowledge and effective communication, you will be able to build or restore the relationship with your dog and live a better life, together.

In-person and online one-to-one coaching
I have currently only limited in-person coaching availability. However, If you are in the Alicante region (Spain), don’t hesitate to reach out and inquire about possibilities for in-person sessions.
Otherwise, I offer online sessions which are an efficient way to assess your situation and coach you through any issues you might encounter with your dog.
In a first assessment session, we will discuss the context of the issue you are struggling with, define a list of priorities and elaborate a short- and midterm action plan. This session can take a little bit of time, as it is crucial for my understanding to gather as much information as possible. I will provide you with an analysis of the situation, some strategies you can implement immediately, and also with additional materials and resources to dive deeper into the topics we cover.
In the follow-up sessions, we will discuss your progress, any upcoming problems & questions and make adjustments to adapt our initial plan if needed.
We will work with video recordings of your dog. Very often, these are better suited than observing the dog in person, as it is not always easy to observe the “problem behaviors” at any given time. Additionally, video recordings are a fantastic way of auto-evaluating yourself. You might be surprised about the amount you can learn just by observing a scene from “the outside”.
It might go without saying, but most likely, you will have to implement some changes in our daily life. These can range from consistently managing certain situations to performing specific exercises with your companion on a regular basis. This can be sometimes harder than we think it is. Therefore, your implication and motivation are crucial to the success! But don’t worry, I am here to guide you through the process, not judge you, and will do my best to find the strategy that works best for you and your dog!
